Here’s a second little video we made for Marketplace’s weeklong “Robots Ate My Job” (http://bit.ly/GYwlOk) special. It’s sort of like “My dinner with Andre” but with comedian Max Silvestri (https://twitter.com/#!/maxsilvestri) and a robot. A little sci-fi, a little history, a little comedy — we unknowingly hoped to jam the ideas of Gleick’s “The Information” into 160 seconds of a fun little video. What would it be like to interview a robot applying for a job? Probably a lot like those incredibly frustrating phone trees.
