This is breaking news today. Iran doesn’t seem to be upholding the “religion of peace” ideals. An former US Marine, is also still being held in prison after receiving the death sentence in January for being a “CIA spy” according to Iran. According to him he was visiting his family in Iran.

Update on the show’s blackout. Sources close to the show are saying Colbert’s 91 year old mother has fallen ill. It doesn’t appear to be officially confirmed but given the circumstances it seems highly plausible. Also, Colbert Nation the show’s official fanpage appears strangely to have also suspended it’s forums.
