Not sure that facebook link will work, but here it is. Inspired by the “I throw my telescope in the air sometimes, Singing AYO- I’m Galileo” image, Lydia has done a complete and awesome rewrite of the song to make a full Galileo version replete with historically correct references!

I rewrote all the lyrics to the song Dynamite by Taio Cruz. Now it’s Satellite(I’m Galileo).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wo11Vbh84bM To follow along.

I-I-I-I-I-I
Io came to dance, dance, dance, dance
Balls hit the floor because of mass, mass, mass, mass
I’m wearing robes cause I got class, class, class, class
Make room for my mathematic plans, plans, plans, plans.

Yeah, yeah.
Cause space goes on and on and on.
And it goes on and on and on.
I throw my telescope in the air sometimes
Saying AYO-
I’m Galileo

I wanna celebrate and live my life
Saying AYO-
Pope’s gotta let go.

Cause we gon’ rock Florence.
We gon’ go all night.
Stars all gonna light up.
Like my satellites.

Cause I wrote it once
Now I wrote it twice.
Stars all gonna light up
Like my satellites.

“And yet it moves, moves, moves, moves.”
Get out the way of me and my moons, moons, moons, moons.
While I’m in Rome I’m gonna do, do, do, do
Just what the eff I came here to do.
Yeah, yeah.

Cause space goes on and on and on
And it goes on and on and on.
I throw my telescope in the air sometimes
Saying AYO-
I’m Galileo.

I wanna celebrate and live my life
Saying AYO-
Pope’s gotta let go.

Cause we gon’ rock Florence.
We gon’ go all night.
Stars all gonna light up.
Like my satellites.

Copernicus told you once.
Now I told you twice.
Stars all gonna light up.
Like my satellites.

I’m gonna take you, Urban
I’m gonna be the last one standing.
Planets orbit the sun
Lighter things are not the last ones landing.

Cause I-I-I, I believe it
And A-A-A, Aristotle was wrong.
I burned you all
I’m gonna put my telescope in the air
Te-telescope in the air
Put your telescopes in the air-air-air-air-air-air-air-air

I throw my telescope in the air sometimes
Saying AYO-
I’m Galileo

I wanna celebrate and live my life
Saying AYO-
Pope’s gotta let go.

Cause we gon’ rock Florence.
We gon’ go all night.
Stars all gonna light up.
Like my satellites.

Cause I wrote it once.
Now I wrote it twice.
Stars all gonna light up.
Like my satellites.

My friend Jeff created this snap off safety power plug for laptops that mimics the magnetic safety power plug used by Apple – but avoids any IP claims. Clever. It consists of a small adapter that contains the snap away socket and the plug that goes into your laptop, so you can use it with any compatible laptop with a 7.4mm plug. They’ve got a kickstarter program going to put it into production.

As housing has gone bust and McMansions sit repossessed and unsold the question of what kind of house America really wants begs answers. This blog looks at the use of Modern & Contemporary houses to sell other products, and to sell other ideas. The ultimate question is why American homebuilders do not build and sell houses like these when culturally the modern house is almost universally understood as an object of desire.

I’ve been posting images of Swedish Catalog Houses to my blog for over a week, each day a new factory, and they just keep on coming, cool house after cool house. Meanwhile in the US? We clearly have our heads up our McMansiony asses.
