For Dr Martens 50th anniversary 10 artists recorded their version of a cult classic track which represents the spirit of the people who’ve worn DM’s over the past 50 years. 10 film directors also created videos to go along with the tracks.
The latest release is from Michael Davis of MC5 & D.O.A covering Cold war kids Something is Not Right with Me. The video directed by Klaus Thymann features jet skis in a Mad Max style fighting scene and lots of jumping around in DM’s.
Mixing stop motion with live action Toby Dale created a piece that hopefully makes the audience feel like a child again as they see their favorite toys come to life.
